nbn statement: Jindera story

06 July 2017

We are aware of the issues being experienced in Jindera and are taking steps to resolve these to support the high broadband usage in this area. nbn has recently conducted remote works to redistribute services on the Jindera tower to balance usage and temporarily help with congestion. We will also perform an overall capacity upgrade to the tower in November of this year. This has been brought forward from March 2018.

It’s important people understand speeds experienced over the nbn™ network are influenced by a range of factors such as equipment quality, software, broadband plans, signal reception, the retailer delivering the service over the nbn™ network and how they provision their own network. This is why people need to contact their retailer in the first instance. If they cannot resolve the issue, they will raise it with nbn.
