What's happening: Hepburn Shire Council Run Emergency Services and Infrastructure Panel is for the community. These Emergency Services Panel are part of Hepburn Shire's recovery efforts, focusing on helping communities become more resilient to disasters and emergencies. nbn Local will be there to answer connectivity questions along with The Council and other infrastructure providers. Morning tea will be included.

nbn Local will be attending the 2026 Hepburn Emergency Services Expo on Saturday, 7 November 2026, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Victoria Park Recreation Reserve (Daylesford Show Grounds).

What's happening: nbn Local, in partnership with the Surf Coast Shire Economic Development team, is hosting a business workshop to help local businesses understand how the new fibre‑to‑the‑premises (FTTP) upgrades in Torquay can better support their speed, performance and growth goals. nbn Local will be on hand to explain what the fibre upgrades mean in practical terms, how improved speeds and reliability can support day‑to‑day operations, and how businesses can make informed decisions about their connectivity as their needs evolve. The session will also touch on how strong broadband underpins digital tools such as marketing platforms, social media, SEO and emerging AI applications.
