What's happening: Castella/Toolangi Fixed Wireless Tower Launch nbn Local is holding a community launch for the new Fixed Wireless tower servicing Castella and Toolangi. The tower is already live, however the planned launch was postponed due to the fires earlier this year. The event will provide an opportunity to raise awareness of the new infrastructure, celebrate improved connectivity for the area and help eligible residents understand their options for getting connected. RSP participation is invited to provide plan information and support customers interested in connecting.

The Expo brings together emergency services and community organisations to support preparedness, safety and resilience. The 2026 event will also feature family‑friendly activities, encouraging strong community participation throughout the day. Spanning 100 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits, the three-day festival attracts over 40,000 visitors and hundreds of exhibitors. Key features and attractions include: Agriculture & Machinery: Cutting-edge farming technology, heavy machinery, and equipment displays. Animals: Cattle judging at "Cattle Corner," sheepdog trials, and interactive displays like walking alpacas.
