nbn statement: 7 August 2017
Statement provided to Today Tonight from nbn Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Karina Keisler:
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs Roberts and our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time. We’ve been in touch with Telstra, and we are working to understand the circumstances as a matter of priority. nbn would like to remind members of the public to register their details on our Medical Alarm Register, which helps nbn identify homes where support may be needed to help minimise a break in service, as well as making sure they notify their retail service provider when they sign up that they have a medical alarm (whether a monitored alarm or an unmonitored autodialler).
