NBN Co beats FY2019 rollout targets

03 July 2019

NBN Co, the company building and operating Australia’s broadband access network, today announced the company has exceeded its rollout and activation targets for FY19.

In the last three months to 27 June 2019, the network rollout continued to gain momentum, powering ahead to connect more than 1.1 million premises.

This boosted the total number of ready to connect premises to 9.93 million at 27 June, beating nbn’s FY19 forecast target of 9.7 million.

Our latest weekly progress report also showed the total number of premises activated for the same period came in at 5.52 million, slightly ahead of our forecast target of 5.5 million.

Full end of year results to 30 June 2019 will be released at nbn’s end of year briefing on 15 August.

More than three quarters of all Australian homes and businesses can now access a service over the nbn™ network with rollout.
