NSW South Coast – nbn Fixed Wireless Upgrade Information Events

The Connectivity Team from nbn Local is partnering with retail service providers and local community organisations to deliver a series of community events in nbn Fixed Wireless upgraded areas across the South East Coast of New South Wales.

The upgrades to the nbn network will significantly expand the coverage and uplift wholesale speeds1 available on the Fixed Wireless network, benefiting thousands of homes and businesses across the region.

nbn will be able to provide you with detailed information and tools to enhance your connectivity or get connected. Our retail service providers will also be attending several of the events to talk about the current Fixed Wireless plans that are available.

nbn will also be delivering a range of digital skills presentations to help you learn more about a range of important topics, including scams awareness. Additionally, nbn Local will be able to provide you with detailed information and tools to enhance your connectivity requirements and will be holding 1-to-1 tech help sessions.

Events will be held across eight towns from late February to early April. The program of events is detailed below. Additional digital capability and tech help sessions will be scheduled closer to the date of the event, so to ensure that you have the opportunity to attend, stay up to date by regularly checking this program.

Your experience, including the speeds actually achieved over the nbn network, depends on the nbn access network technology and configuration over which services are delivered to your premises, whether you are using the internet during the busy period, and some factors outside nbn’s control (like your equipment quality, software, broadband plan, signal reception, and (with the exception of Sky Muster Plus™) how your service provider designs its network). Speeds may also be impacted by the number of concurrent users on the nbn Fixed Wireless network, including during busy periods.
