WA Severe Weather Update

In this blog, we’ll provide updates on our severe weather recovery efforts and details of our support to local communities as it relates to the nbn™ network. Ongoing updates can also be found on the nbn Twitter account @NBN_Australia

8 February at 5:10pm

We are continuing to monitor the situation in Western Australia (WA) and don't currently have any services connected to the nbn™ network offline as a result of the bushfires in the South West.

We have so far recovered approximately 2600 services, however local power outages in affected areas may continue to make it difficult for some users to access the nbn™ network.

The nbn™ network is operational across most of the state, however residents within bushfire affected areas across South Western WA may have issues accessing the nbn™ network.

Power outages (not related to bushfires) have also been reported across Metro Perth, which may be impacting access to the nbn™ network for some customers.

If you are without service, please visit our network status page.

This will be the last update for this issue.
