Creative and cultured Brookfield becomes more connected than ever

The area is surrounded by a number of award winning wineries, giving locals and visitors alike the chance to sample some of the finest drops Victoria has to offer from different cellar doors.

A number of public artworks can be found on show around Brookfield in the wider Melton area. Many of the artworks have been commissioned by Melton City Council and creatively reflect the community.

Known as the area’s most celebrated cultural event, the Melton Djerriwarrh Festival sees around 30,000 people come together and show their appreciation for the community.

From a vibrant street parade to market stalls, amusement rides, performances, food and activities for all, this is one event on everyone’s calendar. The Djerriwarrh Festival has run for 37 years and is a true testament to the energetic community spirit.

From relaxing recreational areas to cultural creativity, there is no denying Brookfield is a suburb full of residents with a ties to their community.
