A fault to third-party managed network infrastructure impacted the nbn® network in the South Burnett region. The recovery efforts were coordinated between nbn and the third-party network provider.

Description of outage

A fault to third-party managed network infrastructure is impacting the nbn® network in the South Burnett region. The recovery efforts will be coordinated between nbn and the third-party network provider. Remote troubleshooting is underway, and a technician may be dispatched to site if required.

A power outage affecting third-party managed network infrastructure has been identified as the cause of the outage affecting nbn services. A technician has now been assigned to attend the relevant site to continue troubleshooting.

The outage has affected around 1,535 nbn services in Regional Queensland, across Fibre to the Node (FTTN), Fibre to the Curb (FTTC, Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) and Fixed Wireless.

Network services have now been restored as weather conditions improved. Following delays due to severe weather, technicians have safely completed restoration work at affected nbn® network sites. nbn services in the Pilbara & Gascoyne regions of WA should now be operational.
