PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND PRICING

The nbn® broadband access network has been designed to provide Australians with high speed broadband access, delivered through the nbn® Multi Technology Mix (MTM) – which is made up of nbn® Fixed Line, Fixed Wireless and Sky Muster® satellite technologies.

Our products have been constructed to allow phone and internet providers to take advantage of a flexible set of features to sell services over the nbn network to their residential, business, enterprise and government customers.

Our products and services

nbn® Ethernet

We have created a single product construct across the MTM technologies (Fixed Line, Fixed Wireless and Sky Muster satellite) called nbn Ethernet. This construct can offer phone and internet providers a range of wholesale downstream and upstream speeds depending on the delivery technology utilised.*

The nbn® Multi Technology Mix (MTM)

Rolling out Australia’s broadband access network requires a unique mix of technologies. We call this the Multi Technology Mix (MTM).

Technology Choice Program

The Technology Choice Program provides eligible interested parties with the option to pay for a switch to their nbn network technology.

nbn® Product roadmap

The integrated product roadmap provides a view of upcoming products, customer experience and onboarding developments. The roadmap is readily available and is updated on a regular basis.

*
nbn is a provider of wholesale speeds to service providers. Your experience, including the speeds actually achieved over the nbn network, depends on the nbn access network technology and configuration over which services are delivered to your premises, whether you are using the internet during the busy period, and some factors outside our control (like your equipment quality, software, broadband plans, signal reception and how your service provider designs its network). Speeds may be impacted by network congestion on nbn’s Fixed Wireless network, including during busy periods. Satellite users may experience latency. nbn wholesale speed tiers available to your provider vary depending on the access technology in your area.
