This information is appropriate for developers and their design and build representatives of a new property development that require Lead-in Conduits (LICs) to connect to the nbn™ network.
Lead-in Conduits is one of the ways the nbn™ network can be delivered to your development. Developments that require LICs usually have 3 or less premises or all the premises facing an existing road and there is no requirement for pit and pipe works or pathway works. The nbn™ network boundary and the premises are directly connected via a LIC from the street without having any additional pits built. No private or public roads can be built as part of the development.
You should review the information below before you commence any work to ensure that the designs and builds are done according to nbn standards to avoid remediation and delays.
