What are the consequences of not ordering an nbn™ connection before the disconnection date?

If you don't place an order for services over the nbn with your preferred service provider before the disconnection date for your premises you will lose access to affected existing internet and landline services.

If you would like to continue using affected landline and internet services, we recommend you contact your preferred service provider to discuss your options as soon as possible.

In some circumstances you may be able to call your existing service provider after the disconnection date. However, you will not be able to make other calls. In some circumstances you may not be able to make any calls. In limited circumstances, it may be possible to reinstate your original service following disconnection while awaiting an installation of nbn™ Equipment at your premise.

However, as this is not guaranteed, nbn recommends you should contact your preferred service provider well before the disconnection date to ensure you have enough time to move your existing services across to the nbn.
