Definitions:

Service available relates to "Premises passed" from NBN Co's latest corporate plan. This is declared when the shared network and service elements are installed, accepted and the premises is ready for service. It means NBN services may be ordered and purchased from a telephone or internet service provider.

Construction commenced relates to the phase of work in an area where contract instructions have been issued and our construction partners can commence work on detailed design and field inspections. It also refers to the date that NBN Co releases the rollout map for your area and signals the beginning of engagement with your local community and council.

Not currently available: The NBN is coming to your place; however, construction hasn't commenced in your area as yet. The NBN is designed to provide the infrastructure for affordable high-speed internet and telephone access to all Australians, regardless of where they live.

Service unavailable pending Body Corporate: The NBN is available in your area. However, your Body Corporate has not provided NBN Co permission or access to successfully arrange a connection and as a result you cannot connect to the NBN. Please call the NBN Co Contact Centre on 1800 OUR NBN (1800 687 626) to find out how you can get your premises connected.
