CommentBacchus Marsh business owner Mal Trask is looking forward to the introduction of the National Broadband Network, which he expects will help his printing and uniforms businesses to thrive and grow while remaining in the regional Victorian town.
The local Bacchus Marsh community and civic leaders today joined forces to formally mark the connection of the town to the National Broadband Network and endorse the benefits superfast broadband will bring to the Moorabool Shire.
More than 200 premises are now able to connect to the NBN in Bacchus Marsh, the first regional area in Victoria to join the fibre network. Nearly 1800 more homes and businesses will have access to the network in the coming months.

CommentLet the mainland begin! We've had our first jam-packed week in Victoria, with the NBN Co Truck visiting Gippsland, Sale and Morwell. We also had a community information session in Bacchus Marsh.
Along the way, we heard some fascinating stories from people about how technology has changed in their lifetimes.
